Roberta Giacobbe designed the Musa clutch thinking of the women who inspired her with their eccentric and anti-conformist personality. Artists and designers like Greta Garbo, Dora Maar, Lee Miller, Georgia O’Keefe, Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso celebrated their femininity instinctively, with a careless elegance, praising the unusual balance that comes from unexpected contrasts in their own personal way. The rounded and linear shapes of this object are decorated by raw brass details and light paddings. The bag closure hides a small mirror, suggesting a feminine and retro gesture with a surreal taste.
